Case 1: ethical, because he's going to get back on in 10 min anyways

Case2: unethical, he was paid to make the program for the company not for his friend

Case 3: criminal, snooping in personal files

Case 4: criminal, because he's stealing

Case 5: unethical, the other student is not suppose to know the password

Case 6: unethical

Case 7: criminal, he's helping them to lie about the stocks


My strongest moral is being successful in life.

I was not tempted to go to the opposite side of what i actually thought because I know what I believe.

Measure of a man

1)      Write up your response questions in paragraph form.  Be sure to use examples from the movie and answer in a reflective manner showing thought.
 I believe that they will be considered life by some and household appliance by others. I believe humans should be allowed to own them because they are only machines.I believe that they should have some rights, but not all the ones that we have.

2)      Do you believe that AI is going to happen.  Explain why or why not.

I do believe A.I. is going to happen because every year we are getting closer and closer to that point and the computers are rising in intelligence.

3)      Will AI be an overall good thing or bad thing?  What is the worst case and best case scenario as you see it?

I do not believe that A.I. will be a good thing because it may get to the point where they will start to have there own thoughts and feelings.The worst case is that they will rise in intelligence so much that they will attempt to gain control over citizens. The best case scenario is that they will be extremely helpful in anything that needs to be done.

4)      What was your felling about the movie Measure of a Man?  Was it realistic?  Did it stimulate thought about the issues?  Is it a valuable use of class time?

 I believe that Measure of a Man was a good movie for the most part but did not make me think they should be free like humans. I believe that it was realistic. It did not simulate thoughts to me because it is only a machine. I believe that the movie was a valuable use of class time.
